This was a really simple great art activity for the kids. They were busy making different scenes for a long time. I liked how it got them to combine crayons and stamping. I liked how they have to actually color the stamps so they get some manual dexterity practice in there.
My daughter loves to draw and color but we wanted to introduce her to more forms of art after drawing and coloring. We came across this during our search and we thought we wanted to give this a try. It was an instant hit. This kit has a very fair price point but that aside, the quality of everything is really top notch. My daughter wanted to make a greeting card to her friend for her birthday and it came out really well. She also learnt about how colors blended and mixed to make new colors.
Overall, I highly recommend this buy. Very happy with the purchase.
Absolutely delightful for a kid who loves to color and create images. The sponges have to be covered in color using the sketchpens provided. The sketchpen ink is erasable which is good because your child might get his hands and clothes covered with ink when he plays. I got this for my 2 year old and he loves stamping the different animals. The animal sponges can be washed easily too.
